The Siemens HB55M550B Best Buy double electric oven cooks evenly in both its top and main oven - it managed to cook all cakes on all the shelves. Its controls were really accurate on fan and convection ovens on every temperature setting we tried, too. In the main oven the grill works well on "turbo" (using the fan as well as the top element) Both the oven and grill are easy to use. The oven is excellent all round, with great controls, shelves that are easy to adjust and load and unload food from and good visibility inside the oven. The grill also has good visibility, and the grill pan is easy to handle. The Siemens HB55M550B will preheat to 150°C in fan mode in 18 minutes and 7 seconds. This oven has catalytic liners which help make cleaning quicker. We managed to get rid of most of the dirt without too much trouble. The main oven has five shelf positions, childproofing and a fast-preheat function. It also has a pizza button that'll cook a decent pizza in a reduced time.
